Edge Nights are held twice per month on Wednesdays, from 6-7:30 p.m (Note new day and time for this year). Led by a group of well-trained adults and high school peer leaders, these evenings are a time of fun and fellowship for young adolescents in grades 6, 7 and 8. The aim of Edge (the middle school component of Life Teen) is to present the truths of the Catholic faith in a hands-on and relevant format designed to meet the spiritual, physical, emotional, educational and social needs of middle school youth.
Middle school Edge Nights are not intended as a substitute for formal faith formation classes, but are meant to enhance them by allowing middle school youth to learn even more about their faith through talks, skit, videos, small group discussions and sharing what they know with their friends. However, ALL middle school students are welcome to attend, whether enrolled in faith formation classes or not, and invited to bring their friends. There is no registration or fee involved – parents may simply bring a young person to one of our scheduled Edge gatherings, come inside and sign a permission form, and he or she is all set!
